Take this one with a grain of salt; a big one.  According to The Daily, the iPad only News Corp. daily newspaper, Microsoft is working on a version of Microsoft Office for the iPad.  Just imagine being able to run Word, Excel, and PowerPoint natively on your iPad.

There was a time when mobile devices didn't have physical keyboards or even the virtual kind we use today. Back in the day Palm created Graffiti which was handwriting recognition software used to enter text on Palm OS PDAs. Palm also included a tiny popup keyboard you could tap with a stylus but if you wanted to enter text quickly without looking at the screen you would have to learn Graffiti. Ever since Apple started offering devices in white (iMac, MacBook, iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad) the rest of the industry jumped on the bandwagon. Smartphone makers and tablet makers usually begin by launching a device in a conservative color of black, grey, etc. and follow up with a white model that people clamor for. The latest device following this trend is the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It is currently being sold in the UK and Middle East at a crazy price of about $2000.00.
