HP has decided to release an Android kernel for the TouchPad. This will make it much easier to turn your webOS TouchPad into an Android TouchPad. Apple loves suing Samsung and this time it's all about the Android 4.0 flagship device, the Galaxy Nexus. Apple has decided to go after Samsung for copying the "slide to unlock" feature that Apple owns the patent to. It has finally happened. You can now jailbreak the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. It's insanely easy to do compared to previous jailbreaks. I just did it on my iphone 4S and iPad 2, and am happy to report it it was quick and painless.

Well that was quick. Samsung has come out and debunked the rumor it would be acquiring RIM. Samsung spokesman James Chung told Reuters "We haven't considered acquiring the firm and are not interested in (buying RIM)". Chung also said "Samsung had not been approached by the Canadian firm for a takeover."

RIM used to be the "king of the world" for a while in the smartphone world but have fallen from that status and is now perceived as a jester. It looks like RIM is following Palm's meteoric rise and fall and is looking to be acquired by Samsung in order to stay alive.
