Apple believes that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus infringes on an Apple patent and Apple has paid a $96 million bond for the injunction to take effect making the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to be sold in the US. Google has confirmed the device will be back on the Play Store next week when it releases JellyBean to Galaxy Nexus devices which will fix the issue. The issue is Google added a search feature to Ice Cream Sandwich which allows a user to search the phone and the web from a Google Search Button, Apple holds a patent on “universal interface for retrieval of information in a computer system.” Google's update will remove the feature of searching your phone and will only allow you to search the web. Apple never went after webOS' Just Type feature which also did the same thing, but never was seen as a threat to Apple the way Google is. It's clear that Apple is not backing down on Google or Samsung and will do everything in its power to keep Steve Jobs' "going thermonuclear on Google" for stealing/copying Apple's mobile OS when they created Android.
